Taman Negara National Park 3 Day Private Tour from £425 per person

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur to Taman Negara
Early morning pick up from your Kuala Lumpur hotel and a private car overland journey to the
river bank at Kuala Tembeling. From here, travel by outboard motor canoes (in a small group) to Kuala Tahan where the Park Headquarters is situated. The 2-hour upriver trip is fascinating as the jungle vegetation become dense upon arriving at Kuala Tahan in the late afternoon. After dinner, watch a video presentation and join the night Jungle Walk. Check in to your accommodation for 2 nights; Taman Negara Resort. All meals included. Overlooking the Tembeling and Tahan Rivers, this 4- star property features Malaysian style wooden chalets with en suite facilities, air-conditioning and a verandah with either a river or forest view.
Day 2: Taman Negara
A full day in the National Park. The following activities are included in your tour and are subject to change due to weather conditions. A motorised canoe upstream to Lata Berkoh, the Canopy Walkway. After leaving your chalet, you have to walk a kilometre, before you come to the canopy walkway. Then a walk across a 500 metre man-made bridge, suspended 25 to 40 metres above the ground. It's the longest canopy walk of its kind in the world. The canopy walk gives you the opportunity to view the rich and diverse flora and fauna at the very summit of the forest. You will see: birds, monkeys and squirrels. A jungle trek to Teresik Hill to view Mount Tahan, the highest mountain in West Malaysia at 2178m above sea level and en-route stop at the Lubok Simpon water hole for a swim and rest. At night, take the option of an animal "vigil" at the tree house. However, sighting of animals are not guaranteed.
Day 3: Taman Negara - Kuala Lumpur
Return journey by private transfer to Kuala Lumpur or to Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Note Light comfortable clothing, jungle boots, a hat, raincoat, torch, sport shoes, swimming
costumes, mosquito repellant and a sweater should be among the minimal necessity for this excursion. Most items can be purchased at Kuala Lumpur. Some of the tours are in small groups and not privately guided. Breakfast & Lunch included.
