This 7 day private tour will take you out into the lush, tropical countryside of terraced rice fields, to villages renowned for their arts and crafts, to Hindu temples and local markets. Witness the spectacular mountain scenery, snorkel off deserted beaches and meet the local people as they go about their daily lives. This tour includes an English speaking guide, driver, breakfast daily and some lunches. Departs daily. Day 1: Arrive Bali You will be met on arrival at Bali Airport and transferred to the Sanur Beach Hotel for your first night. Day 2: Sanur to north-west Bali Escape to the heart of the Balinese countryside. Wander through terraced rice fields and relax in a tranquil village. Learn the art of Balinese cooking in a traditional kitchen, followed by lunch. Continue west, via the mountains to the Mimpi Resort Menjangan; set on the shores of a lagoon-like bay. Day 3: North-west Bali to north Bali The resort is ideally situated for diving, snorkelling and canoeing. The boundaries of the national park extend across the bay and include the small, unpopulated Menjangan Island. Its coral reefs have some of the finest diving in the archipelago. In the afternoon depart for Northern Bali and stay at the Puri Bagus Lovina. Day 4: North Bali to east Bali Up early for a cruise in search of dolphins. Return for breakfast, before a visit to Kintamani, a village located on the rim of Mt Batur Volcano. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant with views towards the crater and sparkling Lake Batur. Visit the biggest temple in Bali, drive via beautiful terraced rice-field scenery to the Puri Bagus Candidasa for a one night stay. Day 5: East Bali to Ubud Morning at leisure, before a two hour drive to Ubud. On the way stop at Klungkung to see the Royal Court of Justice. Arrive at the spectacularly located Waka di Ume for a two night stay. Day 6: Ubud Enjoy a half day tour of Ubud, including the Ubud Palace, art shops, and local market. Afternoon at leisure.
